Sandra was born December 13, 1943, in Rock Island, Illinois, the daughter of William Swink and Doreen Mundy McPherson.
Sandra spent her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. In her spare time, Sandra loved spending time with her family, dancing, and listening to music. Some of her favorites included Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
Sandra is survived by her two children, Tina (Tom) Beerbower and Shannon Roberts; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Dustin) Adams, Dustin Beerbower, Devon (David) Kern, Justin (Tessa) Gast, Danny Gast, and Austin (Amber) Gast; thirteen great-grandchildren, Scott, Aaron, Collin, Corbyn, Gannon, Brady, Jaxon, Journey, Kaydence, Hailey, Jaxon, Oliver, Kaiden, and one on the way; siblings, Cathie Haus-Easley, Chris (Steve) Brown, Debbie (Don) Decker, Suzzane (Dan) Stolp, Lori (Todd) Greenwood, and Kenny (Laura) Mundy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Swink and Doreen (Ray) Mundy; grandson, Brandon Gast; brothers, Ralph and Bill Swink.
The family is planning a celebration of Sandra's life, more information will be sent out when available.
