Sandra Barrientos

It is with profound sympathy and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sandra Jean Barrientos on December 9, 2023. Born on September 24, 1965, in Harlingen, TX, Sandra spent her life encompassing the qualities of love, wit, and spirit. A beacon of laughter and light, she was known for her quick wit and infectious humor. Her funny and spirited nature captured the hearts of many, leaving an indelible mark that will keep her memory alive. In the words of Dr. Seuss, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened," and Sandra made sure everyone who encountered her had countless reasons to smile.
Sandra resided in McAllen, Texas, where she brought joy and laughter to the retail sales industry. She was not just a salesperson; she was a friend to all her customers, radiating warmth and acceptance. She never judged anyone and was known for her loving and compassionate nature. Sandra's greatest pride and joy were her beautiful children and grandchildren. She loved fiercely and unconditionally, creating a home filled with laughter, love, and countless jokes. As Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Sandra's love and kindness made everyone feel cherished and valued.
Sandra is survived by her loving father Salome and Blanca Barrientos, her daughters, Desiree and Austin and son Xavier Barrientos, and brothers and sisters, Javier,Samuel Jr.,Charles,Mark,Joseph,Jonathan,Yesenia,Kimberly, Roger and Micheal Jordan Barrientos and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother,Celia Barrientos. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 3:00 pm CST at Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, 520 Ash Avenue West, McAllen, Texas, 78501. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm CST at the same location.
