Sandra E. Bittinger 64, of Manchester, MD, formerly of Paw Paw, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, VA.
Born on September 24, 1959, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth Bittinger and Sarah Wallace Bittinger.
Sandra was a member of the Hilltop Assembly of God. She was a Care Taker and loved helping others in any possible way. She loved gardening and when there was a yard sale near, you would probably find her present. Next to God, family and friends was the most important things in her life.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Bittinger and a sister-in-law, Tammy Bittinger.
Surviving is her daughter, Ashley Omps Skiratko (Steven) and children, Carson Dominic, Carleigh Jean of Westminister, MD, and her son Zachery Tarr (Alicia) and daughter, Emersyn Rose of Manchester, MD; a sister, Brenda Kerns (Billy) and two brothers, Roy Bittinger (Jeannie) and Dennis Bittinger, all of Paw Paw, numerous nieces and nephews, and friends in Maryland and family in Alabama.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 3:00 P.M. at the Hope Christian Church, Augusta, WV with Pastor David Bradfield officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 – 3pm at the church. Interment will be at the Island Hill Cemetery, Paw Paw, WV at 4pm. A meal will follow at the church and all are welcome.
Memorials can be made to the Island Hill Cemetery, c/o Elisha Whitacre, 11151 Paw Paw RD Paw Paw, WV 25434.
All arrangements are being handled by the McKee Funeral Home of Augusta, WV.
