She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Neumann; daughter, Ali Neumann; siblings, Julia Blackdeer, and John Blackdeer; and birth and foster parents.
Sandra is survived by her siblings, Mary (Ron) Anwash, Harold (Janet) Blackdeer, and Vera Hodges; children, Jennifer Spencer, Cary Blackdeer, Rachel Walsh, Beth McDonald, Shanna Blackdeer, and Patrick Hodges; grandchildren, Xavier, Christina, Aaron, Ryan, Marisol, and Vanetta whom she grew very close with this past few years; along with many other nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.
Funeral services for Sandra will take place Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Buswell Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. Clayton Winneshiek will officiate. A burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Merrillan, WI, will follow.
The Buswell Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements, 715-284-2231.

My heartfelt condolences to Sandra's family and friends at this difficult time. Sandra was the babysitter of choice for my two sons during the time she lived in fostercare with the Gilbertsons. We maintained our friendship after she married and became a mom.
