Violet Winter Blackdeer gained her wings on August 12, 2024.
Violet's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time which one lives. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her. Violet led a rich life of love and excitement spending every moment with family. She loved playing with her siblings and sitting in the kitchen while her parents cooked.
Violet is survived by her parents, Catelin and Timothy Blackdeer; three sisters, Jalisa (15), Raelynn (12), Scarlett (4); brother, Isaiah (3); several grandparents; and many family that extends from here to all around different parts of the country which she visited quite often.
Violet impacted so many people. Her life is a life that should be celebrated. She will be missed everyday and remain in our hearts with that award winning smile. She is, without a doubt, loved and highly valued.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20th from 10am till 2pm with the funeral beginning at 2:00pm at Companion Funeral and Cremation Service in Athens, TN. Graveside to follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Lenoir City, TN. Please wear purple in honor of Violet.
