Sandra Jean Brock, age 75, of Amarillo, Texas, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Amarillo.
Sandra was born on March 29, 1950, in Caro, Michigan, to Vincent and Phyllis Parsons Walsh. She moved to West Texas in 1971 with her beloved husband, Alex Brock, where they made their home in Odessa.
Sandra’s purpose in life was to care for her husband and later her two children, Angie and Mathew. She lived wholeheartedly as a devoted wife and mother. She was a quiet and private individual who loved animals and appreciated the simple things in life. After the death of her husband, Sandra was heartbroken and leaned on her children for strength and comfort. Recently, she moved from Odessa to Amarillo to be closer to her two children.
We take comfort in knowing that our mother is once again in the company of her beloved Alex.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 South Georgia Street. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Schooler Funeral Home, Brentwood Chapel, with Rev. Chris Condit of Hillside Christian North officiating. She was preceded in death by her parents; many siblings; and by her husband, Alex in 2015.Sandra is survived by her daughter Angie Scott and her love, Shawn Venhaus of Amarillo; her son, Mathew Brock of Amarillo; a brother, David Walsh of Fenton, Michigan; and by three grandchildren, Allie Scott, and Harbour and Baylee Brock.
