Sandra L. "Sandy" Brooke

KNOX – Sandra L. "Sandy" Brooke passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Northwest Health, LaPorte Hospital. She was born on September 2, 1960 in Knox to Elaine (Klampe) Combs and the late James Brooke. Sandy was 62 years-old at the time of her death.
She lived in the area her entire life and worked at Republic Services. Sandy was fearless and enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved animals and nature. Most of all, she cherished her family dearly, especially her daughter and granddaughters.
Sandy is survived by her daughter Cara Arnett of Goshen; three granddaughters Aubrie Burns of Tulsa, OK, Chloe Burns of Hamlet, and Kyleigh Norem of Goshen; her mother Elaine Combs of Logansport; five brothers Edwin Brooke of Knox, James Brooke of Rochester, Steven Brooke of Ohio, Jeffrey Brooke and Lonnie Brooke both of Logansport; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and one nephew Edward Brooke.
A Gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM CDT Friday, May 5, 2023 at the Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM CDT on Friday, May 5, also at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place and there will not be a burial.
