Obituary published on Legacy.com by Johnson Funeral Home Inc. - Houston on Dec. 23, 2025.
Sandra was a loving, kind, and generous woman whose life touched the hearts of everyone she met. She held several careers throughout her life but later found her passion and purpose as a child care provider, where she cared for children with dedication, love, and joy. She enjoyed writing in her journals, taking care of people, watching her favorite television programs, spending time with family and friends.

Sandra had a strong faith in God and lived her life guided by faith, loving the Lord and trusting in His grace every day.

She was a devoted and dedicated sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin, who gave love, support, and guidance to her family. Sandra was truly an all-around great person, whose warmth and generosity touched everyone around her. She was most proud of her great-grandchild and her children. She will be remembered for her caring, loving, fun, and outgoing personality, as well as her directness that left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, LaShanteé Katrice Bertand and Sharonda Nicole Wilkes. Her siblings Lorraine Parker, Ricardo Rachell, Phyllis Glenn, Yvonne Elaine Sims, Rose Mary Rachell, Tonya Handy, Miller "Ricky" Swayzer, and Rodriguez "CoCoa" Swayzer. Her grandchildren Passion Brown and Jonté Wilkes. Her great grandchild G.H. Wilkes. Her extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, mother Frances Sims Trimmer and her father Millard Rachell. Her siblings, Raymond Rachell and Millard Don Rachell.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to all friends and family for their support, prayers, and comforting presence during this time of loss. Sandra Lee Brown's life was a testament to love, generosity, and faith.

Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
