Sandra Kaye Crabtree beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Nurse, lover of animals and the beach.

Sandra "Sandy" Crabtree passed peacefully the morning of June 26, 2025 with her daughters by her side at the age of 77. She was born to Samuel and Annabell Morgan on June 30th, 1950 in Bloomington, Indiana.

Sandy devoted her life to caring for others, serving as Registered Nurse at both JFK Hospital in West Palm Beach and the VA Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She worked long hours and night shifts to build the life she wanted and deserved.

She raised 3 children and has 4 grandchildren. Sandy loved her family and spoiled her grandchildren any chance she could.

She had an adventurous spirit, always eager to travel and explore, taking her to many places near and far with her family. Sandy had a natural kindness and sharp wit that endeared her to all who knew her. She loved laughing and having fun, those closest to her know and remember her laugh well. She left a legacy of compassion and strength that will live on through all who were lucky enough to know her.

She had a great love for animals and took in many dogs and cats, always having a small herd following on her heels yapping and loving her right back, no doubt driving her loving husband Dave of 42 years just a little bit nuts.

Though Sandra was born in Indiana she spent most of her life in Florida. She lived in Gainesville where she worked for over 35 years as a Nurse, then retired to Tarpon Springs to live near her children. Recently moving with her husband Dave to Scotland Neck, NC in 2022 to follow her daughters Kara and Tammy again. She and her daughters spent many weekends traveling, antique shopping and going to the beach.

Sandra is preceded in death by her father Samuel and mother Anniebell as well as her brother Jim. Sandra is survived by her husband Dave, sisters Linda and Dorothy, daughters; Tammy Kara, and son Mark, grandchildren, and extended family along with her Dog; Twinky, and 3 Cats; Pickles, Scarlet, and Sophia.

Sandy will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
