Sandra Dryden

 

Funeral Services for Sandra Dryden, 79, will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Blanchard Church of Nazarene, 251 N. Main St., Blanchard, Louisiana. A burial will follow the service at Memorial Gardens North Cemetery, Blanchard, Louisiana. A visitation will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Officiating the service will be Brother Delbert Terry.

Sandra was born January 28, 1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Olen and Lena Ashby, and passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Atlanta, Texas.

She was a longtime member of the Blanchard Church of the Nazaren and was devoted to her faith. Sandra was known for her love of dancing and passion for ranch life. She would always be found spending time with her family, for whom she loved tremendously.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Lou Rabo. Her memory is survived by her husband of 62 years, Larry Dryden; sons, L.D. Dryden, Jr. and wife, Syndy, Jeff Dryden and Steve Dryden and wife, Christy; grandchildren, Brandy and husband, Dusty, Ben, Kaitlyn, Landon, Eli and Sam; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Xander; brothers, Jerry Ashby and wife, Lois, Bobby Ashby, Larry Ashby and wife, Barbara and Olen Ashby and wife, Betty and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring Sandra as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
