To continue this legacy will be her sons Chris (Kasie) Smitherman and Ryan Williams (Cherie Powers), grandchildren, Aubrey, Aaliyah, CJ, Chloe, Jaxson, Madison, and Tristan, her mother, Carol Alfrey, brother, Kenny Alfrey, nephews, Justin and Ben Alfrey, her special uncle Kevin Rankel and her two dogs Lucky and Lucy. The family would like to thank Indiana University Health and Dr. Brandon Aimon and a special thank you to Timothy Benson, for years of dedicated care.
Sandra was preceded in death by her brother Gary Alfrey, father Larry Alfrey, and husband Tom Ewert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with services at 7:00 p.m., all at Loose Funeral Home, 200 W. 53 St. Anderson, IN. Please visit www.loosecares.com to place a memory of Sandra.
