William "Billy" Inholt-Hancock, 27, of Anderson, passed away on August 13, 2025. He was born on February 19, 1998, in Anderson, Indiana. Billy graduated from Anderson Preparatory Academy in 2016. He was a welder for Thomas Docks in Noblesville and had worked with his grandfather at Bill's Heating and Air Service. His passion was war history, and he proudly wore the WWII German uniform in Unit 5/KP GroBdeustchland as a rifleman and infantry. He was thrilled to be able to travel to Germany twice. Billy also enjoyed fishing, traveling to Canada, and putting Lego sets together. Billy was loved and will be greatly missed by his wife, Lindsey M. Inholt-Hancock; parents, Brittany Inholt, and Andy (Rachaell) Hancock; brothers, Jared Inholt-Hancock and Jaden Hancock; stepsiblings, Elexus (Luke) Dishroon, Hunter Thomas, Jaiden Cheek, Korbin Cheek; grandmother, Audrey Inholt, Aunt Nene and Uncle Nene; grandparents, Kathleen Hancock Wilkes (Tony) and Danny Hancock; father and mother-in-law, Lamar and Lynn Fogle, sister-in-law, Lexi (Shawn) Kimbrell; his niece, and a host of great-aunts and uncles, cousins, extended family members, close friends, Vincent Young, Jon Brown, Zach Finn, Devon Mattias, Issac Jameson, Chris Johnson, Skylar Truax and Josh Royer; pets, Winston, Maggie, and Olive and biological father, Merrill Dougherty. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Jerald Inholt, great-grandfather, Don Hartman, and beloved support dog, Josie. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W. 53rd Street, Anderson, IN. Services will be on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 5:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Bair officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Suicide Prevention, the Epilepsy Foundation, or his reenactment unit through the funeral home. www.LooseCares.com.
