Sandra Fallin

Ms. Sandra Jean Fallin, age 73, of Thomaston, passed away September 19, 2025. Sandra grew up in Thomaston, daughter of the late John W. Fallin and the late Syble Cummings Fallin. She graduated from R. E. Lee Institute in 1970. After high school, Sandra went to work at Thomaston Mills during the day, working over 40 hours a week and attended college at night, where she earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Mercer University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She continued to work at Thomaston Mills as a Cost Accountant until their closure and then worked for Standard Textile, where she eventually retired in 2013.

Sandra was a faithful member of Twin Oaks Baptist Tabernacle in Thomaston where she served as church treasurer for many years. Sandra was very devoted to her family and enjoyed traveling and shopping with her sister Cathy.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry Fallin (Charlotte) and Dennis Fallin.

She is survived by her sister: Cathy Turner (Richard); sister-in-law: Debbie Fallin; nephews and a niece: Larry Fallin, Jr. (Veronica), Patton Fallin, Chad Turner (Renea), Brian Turner (Shannon), DeAnn Scruggs (Ronald) and Brandon Fallin; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Celebration of Life service for Sandra will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025, 3 p.m., at Twin Oaks Baptist Tabernacle, 55 Old Yatesville Road, Thomaston.

Friends may visit the family on Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice in memory of Sandra.
