Aunty Sandra
Me and Mandy are very sad to lose a wonderful Aunty. You were more of a friend Sandra, as you were much younger than Thirza our mum, and not much older than us. You and mum were always close, and we have many happy memories of your visits to Stamford, especially the day when your beautiful dog ate one of mum's special corned beef pies that was meant for our lunch. You´d travelled a long way for that pie but we had to laugh, once we knew the dog was ok, after a cut tongue from the broken glass dish. You were always very caring and fun to be with, and will always be a special part of our lives. Sending our love and deepest sympathy to everyone you leave behind.

Auntie Sandra. I have many fond memories of you, even going back to Hatfield when I was just a young boy. I remember you as a kind, funny, warm and loving human being. In the more recent years I will forever cherish the chats we had together and how we both shared memories of my Dad, your big brother, Norm. We both loved you very much and knew that this was returned. Auntie Sandra (knew you hated this haha) you will always have a special place in mine and my family's heart. I hope you are now reunited with Marc and all your loved ones. God Bless you and goodnight until we meet again xx

What can I say about my Auntie Sandra? She was witty and fun, with a sharp intelligence that suffered no fools and a soft heart as huge as the Grand Canyon. After my brother Matthew died age 21 in 1985, every year on his birthday she sent my parents flowers as she wanted to honour the day he was born, rather than the day he died. I loved her for that alone, and I promise Sandy to honour you every 2nd November in whatever way I can. God bless you xx

I first met Marc and Sandra in May 1972, Marc was a shy 5 year old who live opposite my house. I have always felt that Sandra helped nurture Marc´s early friendship's something I will forever be grateful for. Sandra always made us so welcome in their house, I have fond memories of the 1970´s and how she always opened their front door with a smile and gestured for us to come in.
Once Marc moved to the US I was able to see Sandra again on a more frequent basis. She was always vibrant, funny, welcoming and pleasant to be in the company of. Sadly I never got to say goodbye or sit and talk for one last time. What hurts most is that I never got to thank her for Marc ,for her warmth and the fact she made it so easy for two shy awkward kids to become life long friends. She has been a part of my life for over 53 years and will be very sadly missed.

As a childhood friend of Marc´s I have fond memories of Sandra from Hatfield in England. She was the image of Chris Evert the famous Tennis Player. We were always welcome in Marc´s home. They are now reunited and I´m sure will be stars of the show in their new home. Bless you Sandra.
