Sandra Farley Obituary
Shannon-Sandra K. Whitten Farley, 73, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 after a 2 month illness at the NMMC- Tupelo Hospice Unit. She was born on May 31, 1951 in Lee County to parents Elmer Whitten and Mary Ruth Priest Young. She was a member of Tupelo First Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a homemaker. Sandra loved reading her Bible and watching church sermons on television. She loved her family and her little dog Chi. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton. She will be laid to rest in Old Union Cemetery near Shannon.
Visitation will be be prior to service at the funeral home from 10-11 AM.
She is survived by her husband, William A. "Bill" Farley, one son, Kurt Threlkeld, one daughter, Beverly Threlkeld, one grandson, Cade Threlkeld (Kaitlyn), one brother, Kem Whitten (Nell), stepmother, Quay Whitten, half brother, Kerry Whitten (Donna), 2 nephews, Justin and Jonathan Whitten, and the father of her children, William Threlkeld.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
