Sandra Forbes Obituary
Sandra Kaye Forbes, 68, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2025, at Kairos Dwelling in Kalamazoo, MI. Born on November 4, 1956, in Allegan, Michigan, Sandra brought light and love to the lives of all who knew her.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 25 years, Dennis Forbes of Allegan, MI, her two children, Allison Shaffer (Douglas) of Portage, MI, Joshua Salters (Angela) of Gobles, MI and her grandchildren, Ava, Leia, Devon, Tye, Maddox, Katlyn and Ramsey. As well as her stepchildren, Surbrina Cameron, Dennis Forbes Jr., Shirley Forbes, Rita Burress, Robert Forbes, Deanna Winters and Dominic Forbes. Nothing brought her more joy than being with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by parents, Hurley and Betty Guild and brother, David Guild. Also, survived by sister, Judy Nash and twin sister Sherry Honemann.
Family was at the heart of Sandra's world. She embraced each role - daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother - with warmth and unwavering devotion. She had such a giving heart and would do anything she could for a person in need. The comfort of her advice and guidance will live on in everyone who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and enduring connection.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the hospice care team for their compassion and support during Sandra's final days.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be held at the Trowbridge Township Hall, 913 32nd St., Allegan, MI 49010. Friends and family are invited to visit on Saturday, May 24th from 1PM to 5PM.
