Sandra (Sandy) Susan Freimuth (Lamers) passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 13th, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 19th, 1963, in Appleton, Wisconsin. She graduated from Xavier High School in 1981 and pursued a higher education at UW Fox Valley. She then graduated from UW Eau Claire with a bachelor's degree in 1985.
While attending UW Fox Valley, she met her husband. Five years later, on October 15th, 1988, they married and later on were blessed with three children. She was a selfless woman who devoted her life to her husband and children, all while rooted deeply in her Catholic faith by going to Daily Mass. When she wasn't caring for her family, she enjoyed volunteering at her children's school events and scrip program. She loved going to Zumba class, shopping at T.J. Maxx, spending time in the sunshine, taking walks, and gardening in "Grant's Garden". She also had a deep love for cooking/baking which led her to The Free Market in Appleton, where she was known as "the Mother Angel" in the deli/bakery for the past six years.
She will be greatly missed by her husband Larry Freimuth; three children, Grant (Megan), Laura, and Jaclyn (Robert) Tetzlaff; granddaughter Colette; siblings Gary (Lesa) Lamers, Mary Kay (Mark) Ziemer and Tim (Paula) Lamers; and numerous other relatives and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ivo and Marian Lamers.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Sandy will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 21st, at St Mary Catholic Church, 528 2ND St. in Menasha. Friends may visit at the church on Monday from 9 am until 10:45 am. She will be laid to rest next to her parents at St. John's Cemetery in Little Chute.
We could not have asked for a better wife, mother, and grandmother. We are so glad you will always be ours. We love you!
