Sandra Banse Fuechec
March 13, 1973 – August 20, 2024
Sandra Fuechec, 51, of East Bernard, Tx passed away on Tuesday August 20, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 13, 1973, to parents, Leonard and Cecilia Muras Banse in Richmond, Texas.
Sandra was raised in the Wallis area and graduated from Brazos High School with the class of 1991. She later attended Wharton County Junior College, Blinn Junior College and graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in education. She worked for Wharton ISD for 24 years. Sandra married the love of her life, Joseph (Jody) Fuechec on July 20, 1996, in Wallis. She enjoyed cooking, teaching, chatting on the phone, arts and crafts, watching the Astros, being with her sisters and loved being around her children. She also adored her fur babies.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 28 years, Jody Fuechec and children, Jared (Sarah) Fuechec, Caitlyn (Harley) Wade and Zachary Fuechec, all of East Bernard. She is also survived by her parents,
Leonard and Cecilia Banse, Michael (Patricia) Banse, Donna Parke, Janette (Brian) Demny and Brian Banse, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 5 pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church in East Bernard, with a rosary recited at 7 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 10 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Charles officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Jody Fuechec, Jared Fuechec, Zachary Fuechec, Harley Wade, Michael Banse and William Bohacek.
