Sandra Shay Hale, 58, of Junction, Texas passed from this life on January 28, 2025, at a local hospital in San Antonio. Shay was born April 5, 1966, to Samuel W. and Sandra Bishop Lott.
Shay was born in Uvalde, Texas where she began school and then relocated to Del Rio and finished her education from Del Rio High School. She then moved to San Angelo where she met her late husband, Mark Hale. She began her career in the financial industry in Kerrville and then moved to Uvalde. Eventually they decided to move back to Kerrville to raise their kids and Shay worked at Kerrville Title where she finished her career. When she wasn't working Shay enjoyed fishing, bowling, watching football (especially the Dallas Cowboys), raising baby goats, and most importantly spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Samuel W. Lott and her husband, Mark Hale.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her mother, Sandra Lackey and her “Pops”, Henry “Johnny” Lackey; children, Bo (Kaela) Hale, Jennifer Hale (Brian Manear); sibling, Andrew (Rosa) Lott; grandchildren, Braden Hale, Brayleigh Hale, Cody Manear, Dakota Manear, Bishop Hale, Barrett Hale and Blakley Manear; nephews, Weldon Lott, Wesley Lott and Weatherby Lott; along with numerous cousins and lastly, her devoted dog, Dude.
A Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Kerrville Funeral Home, located at 1221 Junction Hwy. Kerrville, Texas.
The family request that all floral contributions be sent to Kerrville Funeral Home on the day of the service.
