In Loving Memory of Sandra Lee Hanline
Sandra Lee Hanline, born on May 24, 1943, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, at the age of 81. She was a cherished mother, known for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends.
Sandra is survived by her children, Robert Hanline (Julia), Brian Hanline (Elizabeth), Christine Hanline, and Pamela Wright-Hanline as well as her grandson Anthony Hanline, who were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dale K Hanline, Brother Jerome Brand, and parents Robert and Lee Brand.
Throughout her life, Sandra was a curious spirit, always wanting to learn more. She would lay with her children staring at the stars, and teaching them as much as she knew. There were always cookies in the house, the lunch bags for school field trips were always decorated by hand. Her generous soul and compassionate nature left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held on:
April 5th at 11:00 am, at Basilica of Saint Adalbert, 654 Davis Ave NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49504.
Burial will follow at, Holy Cross Cemetery, 2000 Walker Ave NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49504.
Sandra's legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Sandra was a wonderful person! Our paths crossed at the end of her 4th quarter. I so enjoyed our time together in prayer and conversations about faith, family memories, and current events. Sandra´s grateful and compassionate heart was truly a blessing to behold! Christ´s peace to all the Hanline family at this time of loss.
