Sandra K. Hare

Sandra K. Hare, passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on May 23, 1946, in Canton, Ohio, Sandy dedicated her life to her family and her community, proudly serving as a school bus driver for Perry Local Schools for an impressive 28 years. She was an active member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. There, she contributed to the community through her work as a bingo helper, volunteering with the CCV group, and crafting beautiful creations in the crochet group. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, and her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Sandra was preceded in death by her beloved spouse of 36 years, Richard G. Hare; parents, Linus and Juanita Fete; brother, Rodney Fete; and her in-laws, George and Virginia Hare; as well as brother-in-law, Kenneth Hare.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Trish) Hare, Jeff (Janice) Hare, Kathy (Butch "Bubba") Dahler; grandchildren, Collin (Courtney), Michael (Samantha), Garrett (Taylor), Mercedes (Ray "Ray Ray"), Katelynn (Ryan), Nathan (Krista), Allison (TJ); great grandchildren, Ramona, Carson, JJ, Violet; brother, Gene (Jane) Fete; sister-in-law, Barb Hare, Kathy Digiantonio, Linda Hare; many nieces and nephews; and beloved four-legged companion and best friend, Sassy.
The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Bethany Nursing Home for their compassionate care during Sandra's final days.
Mass of Christian Burial at Guardian Angels Parish at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (4940 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708) will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel (705 Raff Rd SW, Canton, OH 44710).
