Sandra Sue Fuller Hargis, 82 of Chattanooga, died April 4, 2025, at home. A native of Soddy-Daisy, TN. she was the daughter of the late James Arnold and Bessie Newman Fuller. She was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School where she graduated third in her class and attended Florida Christian College in Tampa, Fla. She played piano for many years and sang in a quartet.
She was a legal secretary for many years, then worked for several companies in private industry. She was a member of Wauhatchie United Methodist Church for many years and loved animals, reading, gardening, traveling, and ballroom dancing.
She is survived by her son, J. Scott Hargis, Laguana Hills, CA.; daughter Jada Hargis Gonzales, Lovis, SC,; grandchildren, James "Bo" Fischer, Emma Fischer Tzannakos, Karl Fischer, Lily Fischer, and Alexandra Gonzales; her cousin and dear friend, Linda Curvin Kaselitz.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 9 at 3pm Est. at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions may be made to Wauhatchie United Methodist Church or a favorite animal shelter.
