Sandy was a beloved teacher at Clifton High School for over 35 years. She belonged to the NJ Teachers Union and was a member of the Woodland Park Library Board. Sandy was also a member of the "Dizzy Dames of Unknown Fame" Red Hatters Club in Clifton.
Sandy is pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Bill and by a brother Richard Hornby. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Cheff & husband Thomas of Pequannock, by her three grandchildren; Dante, Mason and Logan and by son Michael Hartmann and his wife Jennifer.
Visiting 4-8PM Wednesday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton, NJ 07012.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Woodland Park Library would be appreciated.

Sandy´s dedication to Clifton High School never wavered. Sandy´s door was always opened and I spent quite a few times visiting her for advice. Lunch time in the teacher´s room would be filled with laughter when Sandy was there. The Universe has a big hole in it.
