Ms. Sandra J. Brock, age 74, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at her home in Lexington, SC. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.

Born December 12, 1950 in Florence, SC she was the daughter of the late Mrs. Donnie R. Griggs. Sandra was raised in Cheraw and like our mother, was not afraid of hard work. She had her first job around the age of 14 and continued working until she retired several years ago. She lived most of her adult life in the Columbia / Lexington area. She worked for many years at Lizards Thicket. She enjoyed waitress work and meeting people. She was happiest when she was working. Towards the end of her life, she had a lot of pain and grief, she missed our mother deeply. I take comfort in knowing that when she left us, Jesus welcomed her into heaven with open arms and said welcome home, your mother is waiting for you!

She is survived by her brother, Rodney Griggs; sister, Cheryl Griggs both of Cheraw, SC; her uncles, Mickey (Barbara) Roscoe, Buddy Roscoe, Steve Roscoe, and her life-long friend, Clova Smith.

This obituary was lovingly prepared by Sandra’s beloved sister, Cheryl Griggs
