Sandra Lee Klippel, 79 years old, of Brookfield, Wisconsin, became a beautiful angel on January 27, 2025 after a long hard-fought battle against Alzheimer’s.
Sandra was born on October 15, 1945, to Roy and Theresa Fiskum in Milwaukee, and is survived by the best sister she could have asked for, Kathleen Sonntag (Ron Sonntag).
Sandra had a storybook romance meeting her husband, William Robert Klippel “Bill”, at a church group when she was just 15. They fell in love and married the day after she turned 20. Sandra and Bill went on to have 3 children, Mark (Chris) Klippel, John (Lori) Klippel, and Suzanne (Scott) Stiverson who all think she was the best mom they could have asked for.
Sandra is also known as the world’s best grandma to Zachary, Reilly, Hope, Hailey, Bo, Maddy, Damon, and Jay.
Sandra spent 13 years working at Waukesha Memorial Hospital greeting everyone with a huge smile at the West entrance.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the 4:00 p.m. funeral service at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp Street, Waukesha, WI 53188. Private interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Cure Alzheimer's Fund (https://curealz.org/donate).
