Sandra Lightcap Obituary
A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at a later date and will be announced by her family. She will be laid to rest with her late husband at Mount Bethel Cemetery in Columbia.
Sandra L. Lightcap, 82, of Columbia passed away on December 22, 2025. She was born in Harrisburg to the late Arthur and Charlotte Hossler and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Sandra attended and graduated from Elizabethtown High School and went on to receive her LPN from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center in Willow Street. She began her career as an LPN and retired from Pleasant Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Following her retirement, Sandra thoroughly enjoyed volunteering at the Columbia Re-Uzit shop.
Sandra leaves behind two children, Sandra J., wife of Paul Kralicek of Willow Street, Anthony Hess of Mount Joy; her dear friend, who took wonderful care of Sandra, Lisa, wife of John Briggs of East York. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Lightcap in 2005 and two siblings, June Sensenig and Larry Hossler, Jr.
