Sandra R. Lindquist, age 64 of Eden Valley, MN died on Sunday January 7, 2024 in Florida. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday January 19, 2023 at the Litchfield Christian Church. A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday at Johnson Hagglund Funeral and Cremation in Litchfield, MN. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be held at the Union Cemetery in Manannah.
Sandra Renae Lindquist, the daughter of Wesley and Darlene (North) Holmberg was born on October 14, 1959 in Litchfield, MN. She graduated from Litchfield High School. Sandra was united in marriage to Rodney Sommerfeld in Litchfield in 1981. Sandra was united in marriage to Lynn Lindquist in Eden Valley in 2002.
After High School Sandra worked for the Meeker County DNR, followed by caring for friend’s children in her home, being a bartender, a homemaker for Augustana home care and most recently a Customer Service Representative at BI Performance Services in Eden Valley. She was a member of the Peace United Church of Christ in Eden Valley. She always had candy in her purse for the grand kids. Sandra enjoyed camping, playing cards with church friends, baking. She also loved exploring gift shops and Traveling, which she got to do thanks to her Brother Curt.
Sandra is survived by her children Sara Shoutz of Litchfield, MN, Jennifer (John) Condon of Eagle Bend, MN, Wesley (Teri) Sommerfeld of Big Lake, MN and Chris (Alycia) Lindquist of Becker, MN; grandchildren Zoe and Cyrus Shoutz, Lucas and Emma Condon, Jazmine and Lee Lindquist, Destini Anderson, Mackenzie Straumann, Harlo Lind and Nienna Palmer; Mother Darlene Holmberg, Brothers Brian (Joan) Holmberg of Litchfield, MN, Kent (Janet) Holmberg of McGregor, MN, Chad (Mary) Holmberg of Grove City, MN, and Curt Holmberg of Eden Valley, MN; sister-in-law Jocelyn Holmberg of Buffalo, MN; former husband Rodney Sommerfeld and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Father Wesley Holmberg; husband Lynn Lindquist; son-in-law Todd Shoutz; brother Loren Holmberg; and Godmother Ardis Anderson.
