Sandra Hapeman Lovellette, 81, passed October 15th, 2025, with two of her girls by her side peacefully at home.

Sandra was a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born in Bardstown, Kentucky, November 26th, 1943. She had a career as the first female claims adjustor for State Farm Insurance Company in the Kentucky area. She retired from her career at State Farm, but kept busy working at J&B Jewelers for 15 plus years, and made many lifelong friendships along the way.

Gramme told us, "Girls, listen to me, God has given me the most amazing life to live. He really has. The love in my life, the loves of my life, the people that love me, and the people that I've loved in my life. What more could I ask for?" Gramme lived a life that she was grateful for. She lived a full life of love and happiness. She was ready when it was her time. She told us to not be sad of her passing, but to be happy for the life that she was lucky enough to live.

To know Gramme, was to love her. She was a woman full of wit, sass, and laughter, her personality made her a force to be reckoned with, and we loved her so for it. She was an amazing woman and she has left a part of her within each of her favorite girls, Stephanie, Andi, Sherry, Layne, Nicole, Kelli, Nerissa, Mary Margaret and Paige.

Survived by her husband, Steven Lovellette, daughter, Andrea Hill (Jim), Granddaughter, Layne Swanson (Aaron), great grandsons, Billy and James Shuman. Stepdaughter, Scarlett Taylor (Chavis), grandchildren, Sydney, Adam, Elessia, and Julianna. Her brothers, Donnie Tyler (Sue), Tommy Tyler (Sharon), Sherry Henry (Charles) and many loved nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her first love, William Hapeman, daughter, Stephanie Hapeman Scott, brother, Larry Tyler, and parents Gilbert and Margaret Tyler.

A celebration of life will be held privately at the family's burial site in New Castle, Kentucky.
