Sandra Sue Lowe, 82, of Shelby AL, formerly of Blytheville AR, passed away at home on October 7, 2025. She was born in Hillsboro WI on November 17, 1942, to Basil Lloyd Durkee and Edna Viola Cobbledick Durkee. Sandra was a twin!
Sandra had been a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church until she moved to live with her daughter in Alabama. She enjoyed attending and made friends at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Shelby AL and enjoyed working in their food pantry.
Sandra was a homemaker, supporting her husband, Jim, as he pursued a career in the Air Force. She enjoyed raising her children and being a grandmother. She was also an avid bowler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lowe; and her parents, Basil and Edna Durkee.
Sandra is survived by her children: Cheryl Harvey (Bill), Shelby AL, Laurie Stedham (Tony), Leigh Acres FL, and Scott Lowe (Penny), of Gosnell AR;
Three grandsons;
Four great-grandchildren; and one Great-Great granddaughter.
Her twin sister, Linda Martin, of Elroy WI; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at Bay Springs Baptist Church in Shelby AL on Oct 10, 2025, with Bro. Cody Bearden officiating. Visitation will be at 12:00 with services to follow at 1:00 pm. Luncheon will follow service.
Funeral services will be at Bethany Baptist Church Gosnell, AR on Oct 13, 2025, with Bro. Gary Hyde officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 am with services at 11:00 am. Luncheon will follow burial. Burial will be in Carney Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at carneyfuneralhome.com.
