Sandra Lynd Obituary
Sandra K. Lynd, 77, of Ottawa, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 28, 2025 with her loving family at her side.
Sandra was born May 16, 1948 at Mankato, Minnesota to Allen John Frank and Margaret Gertrude (Rebhahn) Frank. She married William Lynd September 26, 1987 at Newark, Illinois. She is survived by her loving husband, William; a son, Scott (Jennifer) Waletzke; step-sons, Brad (Bianca) Lynd, T.J. (Lynelle) Lynd and Derrick (Lisa) Lynd; and grandchildren, Olivia, Addison, Avery, Morgan, Cooper, Remy and Desmin. She also leaves brothers, Jim Frank and Mike Frank; and sisters Adele Kimpell and Muggs Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Allen Frank and a sister, Ellie Turner.
Sandra had been employed at All Steel in Aurora. She enjoyed fishing with her husband at their cabin in Minnesota. Quilting was her passion. She would make quilts and donate to numerous veteran's and children's organizations. She dearly loved her immediate family as well as countless nieces, nephews and friends. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Private family services will be held. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
