Sandra E. Mason Aged 75, of Carver, MN, formerly of Eden Prairie, MN, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2023.
Sandy was born on November 23, 1947, to Elmer and Ella Moran. She grew up in Eden Prairie, MN. On November 21, 1968 she married Samuel (Sam) Mason. While Sam was in the Army, they lived in numerous places, including Germany, until settling back in Minnesota to raise their family. Sandy loved her family and grandkids and always had a smile for everyone. She was an avid collector of dolls which she collected and shared with her family. Her love of flowers, especially Peonies, was evident in her garden and her decor. She loved being at the lake and sitting on the deck to watch the sunrise each morning with a cup of coffee and again in the evening to watch the sunset. She also loved doing puzzles and playing cards with her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James (Elmer) and Ella Moran; brothers, Robert Moran, and Russel Moran; sister, Beulah Englund; brothers-in-law, John Welk, Robert (Bob) Brown, Gary Ginder; sister-in-law Sally Strawn; and son, Michael Mason.
Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Sam Mason; Children Sam (Sheila) Mason, Sara Bornes (Jason); grandchildren, Teagan Mason, Madison Bornes, Lexi Mason, Bennett Bornes; sisters Arlene Brown, Judy (Welk) Ginder, brother Jim (Betty) Moran; brother-in-law Gordon Englund, Paul (Leslee) Mason; sister-in-law Sue Mason; and numerous other family members and friends.
Funeral Service 11 AM Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 16515 Luther Way, Eden Prairie, with visitation starting at 10 AM. Interment Eden Prairie Cemetery.
