Sandra was born on February 1st, 1939 and passed away on
March 28th, 2025 at the age of 86Sandra Hilda (Marland) McKearney, 86, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away on March 28, 2025, leaving a void in the hearts of many. She was the loving widow of the late Robert V. McKearney Sr. who passed in 2017.
Sandra was born on February 1, 1939, in Attleboro, MA, to Alton Vincent and Hilda Louise (Bumpus) Marland. Throughout her life, she held her roots close, residing in the same town where she was born. Sandra was always there for her family and friends. She dedicated her life to the care of her home, embodying generosity in every act.
Sandra is survived by her beloved children, Robert McKearney Jr. and his wife Bette-Kay of North Attleboro, Jeffrey McKearney and his wife Sharon of Attleboro, Jo-Anne Fernandez and her husband John of Attleboro and Cheryl Petrella and her husband Rino of North Attleboro, her 6 cherished grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband and parents.
Sandra was a graduate of Attleboro High School. Beyond her role as a homemaker, she worked as a waitress, serving her community with a warm smile and a kind heart. She found joy in shopping, and in spending time at her summer home in Buzzards Bay. Sandra's most cherished moments were those spent with her husband and family, whom she held dear above everything else.
Private funeral services for Sandra will be under the care of Duffy-Poule Funeral and Cremation Services, located at 20 Peck Street, Attleboro, MA.
As we share in this time of loss, let us remember Sandra for the supportive, humble, and generous individual she was.
