Sandra R. McNeely

Sandra R. McNeely, born on August 28, 1943, passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Lyndon McNeely, who preceded her in death on September 20, 2021. Sandra was born in Winnsboro, Louisiana to the late Arthur Louis Rhodes and Christine Russell Rhodes.
Sandra attended and graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston where she was a proud member of Phi Mu Sorority. She was an educator for over 40 years where she dedicated her time and service in multiple districts as a teacher, librarian and principal. She ended her career retiring in Cypress Fairbanks as principal of Gleason Elementary School. She valued and loved her time as an educator and made many lasting friendships.
Sandra is survived by her son, Keith Brian McNeely, adored grandchildren, Chandler Brian McNeely and Peyton Camille McNeely, brother, A.L. "Buddy" Rhodes (Jean), brother in laws, Jerry McNeely (Virginia), Steve McNeely (Joan) along with numerous other family members.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, whose warmth and kindness touched all who knew her.
A memorial service to honor Sandra's life will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Klein Funeral Home – Tomball, located at 1400 West Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Sandra's legacy of love and compassion will be remembered and cherished by her family and friends forever.
A reception will be held at the home of Lisa Hymel in Cypress, TX immediately following the service.
