Sandra enjoyed spending time with her dog, Belle, watching westerns and spending time with her son.
Ms. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents Margie and George J. McVay of Troy, AL.
She is survived by her son Thomas (Melinda "Sissy") Pittman; granddaughter: Renee (Terry) Dawkins and their children Brody and Savannah Dawkins; nephew: Matthew (Evey) Owen and their children Ethan and James Owen; niece: Leah (Brian) Blanks and their daughter Claire.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting you to make a donation to your local Humane Society.
