Alex Matthew Carrigan

Alex Carrigan, age 27, a resident of Troy, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at his home. Funeral services for Alex Carrigan will be held on August 25 ,2025 at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Minister David May officiating. Graveside service will follow at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Minister David May officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours before the service from 10:00-12:00 pm at the funeral home.

Alex was a loving son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was always the life of the party. Alex was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a kind, vibrant soul and an infectious smile that could light up even the darkest of days. Alex was an avid NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and MLB Tampa Bay Rays fan. He also loved his virtual gaming family.

Alex was a graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School Class of 2016. He attended Troy University and was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.

His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

He is survived by his mother, Dawn Cervera (Rick) of Troy; father, Patrick Carrigan of Dallas, TX; half-brother, Patrick Baker of Tampa, FL.; grandparents, Jerry Wayne Cobb, Sr and Elaine Cobb of Troy; Uncle, Jerry "Wayne" Cobb, Jr. (Teresa) of Troy along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
