Sandra Newman, 79, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024, at a local hospital in Las Vegas. She was born April 30, 1945, in Boulder City, NV to Lyel and LaVera (Henrie) Hannig.
Born in Boulder City, NV graduated from Boulder City High School in 1963, Sandra was a NICU Nurse for over 20 years at Sunrise Hospital. Her family was the center of her world, and she found immense joy in spending time with them. Sandra had a passion for gardening and took great pride in her yard. She spent countless hours nurturing her plants, trees and flowers, finding tranquility and happiness in her garden. Sandra had a love for the Las Vegas Golden Nights, if she wasn’t able to attend the games she would watch it on TV. Always by her side was her 2 dogs Chloe and Emma.
She is survived by her 6 Children ~ Teri Williams (of CA), Robert Williams (of NV), LeeAnn Conrado(of WI), Jennifer Kazlaskia(of NV), Doug Newman(of NV) and Samual Nathan Newman(of NV), 13 Grandchildren ~ Breanna, Brittanie, Allen, Lindsey, Jade, Madison, Parker, Gunnar, Michael, Roya, Madalynn, Hannah. 10 Great Grandchildren ~ Kylie, Reese, Max, Alex, Sadie, Lylah, Grayson, Emery, Ethan, Eilyn, Elora, Lane. 3 Siblings ~ Heber, Florence, Joan with many Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in Death by ~Lyel (Father), LaVera (Mother), Doris (Sister), Sharlene (Sister), Marion Hugh (Husband)
Funeral services will be July 22, 2024, at LDS Chapel, 1550 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City, NV. View 8:30-9:00 am, services 9:00-10:00, burial at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery 10:40.
