Neal L Hanson

Neal was born on January 21, 1954, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to parents Raini and Lloyd Hanson.  He moved to Boulder City, in 1957. He loved to play sports through his high school years and graduated from Boulder City High School. Neal also loved to build.  He went into construction and learned to build houses from the ground up.  He also remodeled many businesses and homes in the Boulder City/Henderson area. Neal and his Company built the new expansion on the Boulder City Hospital in the early 80s - then Neal and Ned established their own company and worked together for 20 years. He built the "home" he went to heaven from. He is survived by his son Ryan, older brother Ned (Valerie), sister DeAnn (Jamie) and family, brother Jeff (Gloria)and family, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be June 1st, 2024 at Boulder City Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at the Boulder City Senior Center. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Long Term Care @ Boulder City Hospital. A huge, sincere, heartfelt thank you to Neal's extended family at LTC, staff, volunteers and residents.  Not enough words to express our extreme appreciation and love for you all.
