Sandra Nix, age 80, of Palmyra, Missouri, was called home to the Lord on October 10, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sandra’s gentle spirit and creative heart touched all who knew her.
Born in 1945 to Nadine and Orville Allensworth, Sandra was raised with strong values of kindness, faith, and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Stephen Allensworth.
Sandra is lovingly remembered by her husband Ronald Nix and surviving siblings, Loren Allensworth and Glenda Narramore (Glen Narramore), and by her devoted children: Michele Nix (Matt Jost), Aaron Nix, and Heather Rajchart (Ben Rajchart). Her memory also lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Nathan Mitchell, Summer Layne, Brayden Rajchart, Ben Rajchart Jr., and Troy Rajchart, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
A woman of deep faith, Sandra loved the Lord with all her heart. Her life was a testament to kindness, patience, and grace. She found great joy in quilting and spent many peaceful hours creating beautiful craft projects that were treasured by her family and friends. Her artistic talents were a true expression of the warmth and love she carried within.
Sandra’s legacy is one of compassion, creativity, and unwavering faith. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her, but her spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at First Baptist Church on Thursday October 16 at 10:00 AM , where family and friends will gather to honor her memory and rejoice in the promise of eternal life.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her memory to First Baptist Church in Palmyra Missouri.
