Sandra Noton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Beck Funeral Home in Pflugerville on Dec. 10, 2025.
Sandra Ann (Schneider) Noton January 12, 1943 – November 21, 2025 Age 82
Sandra Ann Noton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the age of 82. Born in Austin, Texas, on January 12, 1943, Sandra spent her life rooted in the communities of Austin and Pflugerville, where she built a legacy of love, generosity, and faith.
She was the daughter of Herbert "Shorty" H. and Etha Rue Schneider, both of whom preceded her in death.
Sandra married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) P. Noton, Jr., and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. She was the proud and devoted mother of Teri Hardi (Mark) and Tami Simmons (Johnny), and the cherished grandmother of:
· Jessica Buck (Brad) – children Addilynn & Brooklynn
· Jennifer Stern (Mason) – children Owen & Parker
· Staci Carey (Garret) – children Baylee, Blake & Bowen
· Shaun Simmons – children Sophia & Shiloh
She is also survived by her sister-in-law Jean Thomas (Ted); her nieces Tonya Mast (John) and Trisha White (Joey); and her great-nephews Lawton and Holden.
Sandra dedicated more than 30 years of service to the State of Texas, working for the Texas Water Development Board and the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. She also spent time at IBM, demonstrating her strong work ethic and commitment to helping others.
A true nurturer at heart, Sandra loved people deeply and unconditionally, especially her family. She and Bob rarely missed an event, game, or performance, always cheering on their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She opened her home often, welcoming friends and family for gatherings filled with warmth, laughter, and good food.
Her desire to serve extended far beyond her family. Sandra volunteered with Circle of Friends, Meals on Wheels, and at Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she supported numerous ministries, including the Youth League and altar guild, and helped transport members to appointments. She also played a key role in creating three cookbooks that raised funds for Circle of Friends and patients at the State Hospital.
Sandra loved music, found joy in traveling, and lived her life grounded in her strong Christian faith. That faith was the cornerstone of her life and a guiding light that she passed down through generations. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering belief in God will continue to inspire all who loved her.
A memorial service celebrating Sandra's life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pflugerville, Texas, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025.

Such fond and cherished memories of classmate Sandra...PHS'61. Always a joyful personality at any event...side by side in Panther PepSquad cheering our winning football team...hosting memorable class reunions...she and Bobby adored one another from the get-go...always a super couple...together in spirit. Sandra always had a camera for any activity, capturing the moment...especially as her precious girls were growing up. We are truly blessed to have shared her journey. May God bless Bob, Terri, Tammy and ALL...
