Sandra Lee Ober, 61, passed away February 17, 2025. She was born March 15, 1963 in Akron, the daughter of Frederick G. Brooks Sr. and the late Linda J. Brooks. Sandy will always be remembered as a person who was proud of her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a huge fan of music with favorites being Led Zeppelin and Stevie Nicks. She was definitely the life of any party and will be remembered for her fun, sarcastic and rebellious sense of humor. In addition to her mother, Sandy is preceded in death by her son David L. Ober Jr. She is survived by her husband of 36 years David L. Ober Sr.; her father Frederick G. Brooks Sr.; sons Frank (Dawn) Miljak, and Matthew (Stamatia) Ober; daughters Jessica Ober (Larry Harvey) and Cari Ober; brothers Fred (Luann) Brooks, and Wayne Brooks; sister Tara (Mark) Townsend; grandchildren Skyler, Logan, Joey, Jamison, Taylor, David, Frank, Monica, Nathan, and Gracie; as well as great grandchildren Addilyn and Aurora. A celebration of Sandy’s life is planned on her birthday March 15, 2025 at her daughter Jessica’s home. Please contact the family for times and details.
