Sandra Kay Olhausen, 74, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Baptist Hospital in Union City.
Sandra was born on September 8, 1949, in Ridgely, TN, to the late Harry and Pearl Williams Woods. She was a retired secretary with the Lake County School System and was a member of Willingham Baptist Church. Sandra was an avid Yahtzee player and she loved to shop. She loved spending time with her family and loved her cat, Smokey.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024 in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Lumpkin officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Dyersburg Funeral Home Ridgely Chapel.
Survivors include her two daughters, Debby Davis Smith of Carthage, TN and Kerri Olhausen Newsom (Ricky) of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, David Korey Olhausen (Chelsea) of Tiptonville, TN and Tyler Brett Wood of Ridgely, TN; fifteen grandchildren, Kara Davis-Myers, Rachel Strasburger, Chase Smith, Caleb Smith, Madison Myers, Rusty Myers, Caylin Clay, Hailey Johnson, Hayden Smith, Mari-Hanna Newsom, Hunter Newsom, Alaina Olhausen, Ellie Olhausen, Leigha Olhausen and Emery Olhausen; and three great-grandchildren, Kenna Wood, Hella Wood and Larrah Jo Johnson.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Canada; and two brothers, Wilburn Woods and Arlie Woods.
Pallbearers will be Brett Wood, Hayden Smith, Hunter Newsom, Cameron Gordan, Causton Johnson and Marlous Halliburton.
