Sandra Rawlins Obituary
With deep sorrow and profound love, the family announces the passing of Sandra Florida Love-Rawlins, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Sandra was born on September 24, 1952, in Philadelphia, PA, and throughout her life she embodied grace, strength, and unconditional love. She touched everyone she met with compassion, wisdom, and a quiet yet powerful spirit. She is preceded in death by her husband Cotrell Rawlins Jr. "Sonny", mother Emmie Love, and brothers Arthur Love and Eddie Love.
She leaves to celebrate her memory, her three beloved children: Rwanda Luckett-Gibbs "Precious", Janice Luckett, and Leon Luckett Jr. "Man" ( wife Uniquika). Sandra's legacy continues through her four grandchildren: Darrien Luckett, Devin Gibbs, Le'Nique Luckett, and Leyla Luckett, who will forever carry her love and light in their hearts.
She is also survived by her sister Yvonne Love, brothers Anthony Love and Dexter Love, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will cherish her memory always.
Sandra's gentle spirit, generosity, and laughter will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered not only for her deep devotion to family but also for her unwavering kindness and the warmth she brought into every room.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her legacy continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
The family of Sandra Love-Rawlins wishes to thank everyone for their prayers, calls, and expressions of love during this time of bereavement.
A viewing will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Raymer-Kepner Chapel, 16901 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville, NC 28078. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm.
