Sandra Lou Richards

Sandra Lou Richards was born in Rockdale, Texas on September 17, 1945 to the parentage of William Monroe Jackson Sr. and Seewillow Colvin Jackson.
Sandra Lou graduated from Aycock High School in Rockdale, Texas in 1964. She worked in food services throughout her career. She accepted Christ in her life at a young age and joined the Springfield Baptist Church in Rockdale, Texas, where she served as a faithful member.
Sandra Lou loved her family, friends and everyone she came in contact with until her health declined. She received great care at the Western Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Temple, Texas until the Lord called her home.
Sandra Lou was preceded in death by her husband James Richards, her parents, William Monroe Jackson Sr. and Seewillow Colvin Jackson; two brothers, John E. Jackson and William M. Jackson Jr.; four sisters, Essie M. Davis, Evelyn Moultrie, Mae J. Cashaw, and Pamela E. Ellis.
She leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Avis S. Norwood of Temple, Texas and one brother, Larry N. Jackson (Sandra) of Austin, Texas. She also leaves to cherish a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial to follow in the New Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation is Friday, August 19th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
