Sandra “Sandy” Morrison, 77, of Barney, died on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was born on June 29, 1948, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Henry Wallace “Jim” and Barbara “Joy” Hopkins Pierson. Sandy retired from Fountain Motor Company in Orlando, FL and served as a warranty administrator. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, loved going to the beach, and was sensitive and caring for the needs of others. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart and was a member of Providence Community Church.
Sandy is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Waylon and Megan of Hahira; her grandchildren, Elena Morrison, Mila Morrison, Walker Morrison, Myles Morrison all of Hahira; a brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Roxanne Pierson of Orlando, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other loving family members. She was preceded by her husband Daniel “Danny” Morrison; her two sons, Robert Troy Morrison and David Lee Morrison, and her brother and sister-in-law, Rusty and Deb Pierson.
Services for Sandy Morrison will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Providence Community Church with Pastor Rodney Tennery officiating. The burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m. at the Martin/McLane Funeral Home in Hahira. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. Martin/McLane.
