Sandra SantAngelo

Sandra Jo Burrell SantAngelo, age 83 of Chatsworth, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2025. Sandra was born on June 25th, 1941, in Atlanta to her late parents Robert C. and Grace Elizabeth Brown Burrell. Sandra was a member of the Good Samaritan Catholic Church. She graduated with an associate's degree in Telecommunications and was employed at Bellsouth. She is preceded in death by her first husband Gerald M. Mavergames, sisters Barbara Jean Merck, and Carolyn Ann Haire, and her brother Scott Burrell.
Survivors include her husband Bill SantAngelo of Chatsworth, GA sons and daughter-in-law Christopher and Caroline Mavergames of Freiburg, Germany, and Joel Robert Mavergames, Grandchildren Haylee Hungate, Mackenzie Mavergames, Zoey King, Gracilyn Harper, Arvo Mavergames, and Jules Mavergames, sisters Betty Ledrew of Ellijay, Judy Wilson of Ellijay, and Cynthia Johnson of Jonesboro, GA, grandsons, great-grandsons, several nieces, and nephews also survive.
The funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 20th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Catholic Church in Ellijay, GA, with Father Bradley Starr officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Following the service, the Knights of Columbus will serve refreshments in the church's social hall. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Forest Hills Memorial Garden in Forest Park, GA.
