Sandra Shephard

Sandra Carol Shephard (63) of Parkville, MD passed away peacefully at her home on September 8th, 2024. She is survived by her daughter, Katelyn Shephard, her son, Gregory Shephard, and his fiancée Nicki Kaltenbach, and by her husband, Alan Shephard. She is also survived by her two sisters, Mary Claire Goff, (Richard Goff, deceased) and Donna Wrightson (Dennis, husband), eight nephews, and eight nieces. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Pat Warns, stepfather Edward Warns, and her brother Earl Hoxter.
Many close to Sandy knew of her struggles with Anorexia throughout her life. While she persistently fought to treat her illness, the physical repercussions became too severe. Her family is taking comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, and we will see her again.
Sandy was a truly thoughtful and caring human being, family member, mom, sister, and friend. Being a mother was one of her greatest joys. Beautiful inside and out, she had a bright spirit, a beautiful smile, and genuinely loved her family and those around her. She always stayed informed of events in their lives and would often check in to see how everyone was doing. Sandy was compassionate and supportive of others, always offering encouragement and sharing uplifting devotionals. She will be greatly missed.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Sandy's life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, for a Receiving of Friends from 4 to 5 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at 5 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to : Homecoming Project or mailed to P.O. Box 1190 Bel Air, MD 21014.
