Sandra Slagle Obituary
She worked in the housekeeping department of Heritage Hall Healthcare in Big Stone Gap for several years. She also worked as a seamstress at Buster Brown in Dryden, Va. Sandra was of Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Slagle, Jr.; a grandson, Derrick Woodward; and siblings, Burl Tipton, Richard Tipton, Robert Tipton, Rachel Charles, Betty Holland, and Sue Banks.
Surviving are her son, Robert Slagle, Big Stone Gap; daughter, Michelle Jones (Calloway), Big Stone Gap; grandchildren, Errictt Slagle (Chelsea), Angelica Slagle (Zack Pendleton), both of Big Stone Gap, Christian Slagle (Seaira), Camp Lejeune, NC, and Harley Carter (Marcus), Jonesborough, Tn.; great grandchildren, Sahara Saleigo, Amethyst Saleigo, Kyla Carter, Damian Pendleton and Arya Slagle; brother, Jerry Tipton, Norton, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2022, at Gilliam Funeral Home, 618 Wood Avenue, W., Big Stone Gap, Va.

So sorry for Sandra´s family. She was a sweet person. Known her since she was a young girl.
