Sandra Snyder Obituary
Sandi went back to school at the age of 56 to pursue her lifelong dream of teaching Art. Sandi graduated from Shepherd College in 2015 with her Regents Degree. Sandi was an accomplished artist, Master Gardener, quilter, and her most favorite job was being a Grandmother! Wherever she went she was the life of the party and loved to dance to Motown and 1970's disco music.
She was married to her husband Charles Snyder on September 10, 1983 and they were united until his death on September 14, 2018.
She is preceded in death by their son Michael Snyder. Together they created a beautiful, blended family who remain to cherish her life and memory, children Jeannette King, John King III and Daughter-in-law Evangeline King, Daughter-in-law Gioia Snyder, Grandchildren Cody Boushey, John King IV, Benjamin, King, Jasmine Snyder, Sierra Jones, Ronald Giscombe III, Devontae and Casey Jepsen, and Great Granddaughter Genevieve Jepsen, sister Shelby Mullenax and her daughters Esme Bitler and Halle Murphy, and many cousins, and nieces and nephews. Her extended family Treva, Sarina, Matt, and Viola Taylor, Luz Martinez, Mason, Emily, Sophia and Nyle Chaudhry, and a plethora of close friends all over the country!
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 28, 2025 from 12pm to 3pm at the family farm in Big Pool, Md.
Memorial donations in Sandi's memory may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, Inc. or any charity that supports children or animals.

Although my time spent with Sandi was brief, I'll always treasure our conversations looking out on the beautiful Pacific. It was like two young girls, re-living the best of their "glory days"!
My thoughts and prayers are with Jeannette, Cody and all of Sandi's family.
