Sandra R. Spurlock, age 70, passed away on October 14, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 22, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Carmella Salvano and Richard Bombalski, Sandra leaves behind a legacy of warmth, selflessness, and unwavering love.
A devoted mother, Sandra is survived by her cherished children: Anthony Bombalski, Tonya Russell (Jeffery), Gary Smith, Jonathan Smith, Heather Smith, Richard Smith (Monica), and the late Samantha Smith. She was not only a mother but a pillar of strength, always putting the needs of her children above her own. Sandra's love extended through generations as a beloved grandmother and great grandmother to many.
Sandra was a beloved sister to William Dienes, Diane Wilkovich (Rick), and Kenneth Bombalski (Darleen). Her presence in the lives of her siblings was a source of joy, laughter, and shared memories.
Known for her zest for life, Sandra found joy in simple pleasures. She had a passion for walking, finding solace and peace in the rhythm of each step. Her home was filled with the laughter of her collection of dolls and the playful spirit of Scooby Doo, a reflection of her youthful and fun-loving nature.
Sandra's love extended beyond her human family to her faithful canine companions, who were not just pets but beloved members of the household.
Her life was a testament to sacrifice and unconditional love. Sandra would go to great lengths for the happiness and well-being of her children, embodying the true essence of motherhood.
Family and friends are welcome on Sunday, October 22, 2023, from 1 to 3 p.m., at Slone & Co. Funeral Directors 13115 Lorain Ave. Cleveland, OH 44111.
