Sandra Sue (Simpson) Starritt, age 81, entered eternal life, September 18th, 2024 in Portales, NM.

Sandra was born May 25th, 1943 in Ravenwood, Missouri to Pauline and Arnold Simpson.

Sandra traveled from Ravenwood, Missouri to Roswell, NM with her parents and three sisters in 1948. Later in life, she moved to Clovis, NM where she started a family, and resided there until her passing. Sandra was a career employee of Allsup's Convenience Stores, beginning as a store clerk and working her way up the chain of command, becoming one of the first female supervisors of the Eastern New Mexico/West Texas area. Sandra had numerous hobbies over the years, but she was always the happiest at a Casino or with her grandchildren. While life brought many trials and tribulations over the years, Sandra persevered, and was the perfect example of true strength, which was evident until her very last breath. She was the best listener, hand holder, and loved each of her children and grandchildren unconditionally.

Sandra is survived by two sons, Larry Starritt and wife Leslie of Las Cruces, NM, Gary Starritt and wife Kristi of Clovis, NM; three grandchildren, Trent Starritt of Las Cruces, NM, Keely Starritt and fiancé Jake of Las Cruces, NM, Lynzie Bock and husband Tyler of Clovis, NM; three great-grandchildren, Lane Bock, Travis Bock, and Lynnde Bock; sister, Jan Hargrove and Husband Dennis of Roswell, NM, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends who all loved her dearly.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Pauline and Arnold Simpson; grandchildren Caleb Starritt, Lyndie Starritt, and Gary Starritt Jr.; sisters, Charlotte Price, Arlene Hilliard, Dorothy Rosser, and Terry Pharris.

The family would like to give a heart-felt thank you to Lance, Jess and all of Interim Hospice for going above and beyond, providing exceptional care, and treating Sandra as if she were part of their own family.

At the request of the deceased, no funeral service will take place.

"If roses grow in Heaven, Lord, please pick a bunch for me, place them in my grandmas arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her I love her and miss her and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for awhile" -Author Unknown
